Reviews: face edition

Hello there!

I wanted to share a few products that I’ve used recently that I would recommend to anyone. In no particular order, here are the products:

  1. Thayers – Witch Hazel Toner, Rose Petals

I use this product after washing my face at night. It removes any excess makeup and dirt missed on my face and has a fresh scent. It’s alcohol-free, contains aloe vera, and doesn’t strip out the oils from my skin.

2. Cocolene Derma Relief Oil

A few months ago I went to the WNHS (World Natural Hair Show) in Atlanta. A friend told me about the Cocolene brand and told me to stop by for their free skin evaluation. I ended up purchasing this oil as a moisturizer for my skin to help with my hypo-pigmentation.

I’ve used this product for a few months and I found it to be lightweight and doesn’t leave my face too oily.

3. Beauty Counter – One Step Makeup Remover Wipes

My beauty consultant, Tracey J., told me about a company she works for called Beauty Counter. This company creates safe, high quality beauty products for women. Every ingredient in each product made is checked to make sure it won’t harm or damage a woman’s beauty.

Unlike other wipes I’ve used, these don’t stingy my eyes when I remove eye makeup. They’re gentle, cleansing, and come from a company that I can trust.

4. Neutrogena Naturals – Fresh Cleansing+ Makeup Remover

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. It’s definitely my favorite product that I’ve use in over a year. Like the face wipes, this face wash is natural, doesn’t tingle, or leave my face dry after. Plus, this particular product helps to remove makeup as well!

5. Bioré Charcoal Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

I used this face wash for a while but found that it dried out my face. Instead of throwing it away, I started using it as a cleanser under my arms. After a few months, I noticed that the darkness under my arms disappeared and my skin tone evened out.

Although this product didn’t work well for my face, I would still recommend this product seeing that the charcoal helped even my skin tone under my arms.

Thanks for checking out this post!
